LWVPA Testifies To Legislative Reapportionment Committee On Proposed Maps

On Jan 7, 2022 LWVPA's Director of Government Policy Susan Gobreski testified to the Legislative Reapportionment Commission on the proposed congressional maps for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Ms Gobreski thanked the LRC for its work in undoing decades of gerrymandering and following the population shift in the new maps. She also brought up concerns that the maps still show regional bias in favor of votes in the West and urged the commission to address this issue as soon as possible.
