Board Service Opportunities
The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania is currently seeking Board of Director nominations the Director of Environmental Policy position. For over 100 years, the League has served as a nonpartisan voice for the rights of Pennsylvania voters. We’re looking for the next generation of League leaders to continue our important mission of empowering voters and defending democracy for another century. Learn more about our work here. A new board member will join the League at an exciting time – organizationally, we are experiencing programming, fundraising, and membership growth!
The League believes that an informed voter is a powerful voter. League members register voters, advocate for important Pennsylvania policy issues, and promote civic engagement year round. LWVPA Board members support our grassroots network of 30 local Leagues across Pennsylvania, guide our statewide advocacy portfolio, lift up the voices of voters, and provide key operational support for our small but mighty nonprofit.
