LWV of Pennsylvania Provides Nonpartisan Voter Education Tool VOTE411

Ahead of the 2022 General Election, the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania offers voters the nonpartisan election resource VOTE411.org. This “one-stop shop” for election information provides Pennsylvania voters with simple, accessible tools to help them navigate the voting process. VOTE411 provides personalized candidate information, voter registration details, polling place locations, and other helpful election information for all voters nationwide.

“From local ballot initiatives to important state races, it is crucial that voters in Pennsylvania make their voices heard this election year,” said Rochelle Kaplan, Director of Voter Services. “VOTE411 is the nation’s premiere online election resource that provides voters with the resources they need to make an informed vote this fall. The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania has published our voter guide on VOTE411 as a resource for all Pennsylvania  voters.

The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania works to ensure that Pennsylvania elections are secure and that voters have the information they need to make their choice at the ballot box. The PA Leagues’ work includes important election services like poll worker recruitment, voter registration, election protection, and voter education. VOTE411 is an invaluable resource for the League’s  civic engagement and voter education efforts.

With resources available in both English and Spanish, VOTE411 helps millions each year — many of them young people and first-time voters — learn more about what’s on their ballot, where candidates stand on the issues, how to find their polling place, and more.

The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania invites all major candidates to participate in Vote411, and follows up diligently with candidates to ensure they are aware of this important opportunity to share their priorities. In fact, the League does multiple rounds of follow-up to ensure all candidates submit their responses. If voters don’t see responses on Vote411 from some candidates, it is because those candidates actively declined to participate in making voters aware of their positions.

“The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania is pleased to provide this important, nonpartisan resource to Pennsylvania voters,” said Meghan Pierce, Executive Director. “We encourage voters to visit VOTE411.org to make a voting plan so they are prepared to cast their vote confidently on Election Day!”

Election Day in Pennsylvania is on November 8th 2022 with polls open from 7 A.M. to 8 P.M. Early voting and absentee/mail-in voting have already begun. Pennsylvanians voting by mail have until November 8th  to return their mail-in ballots at their ballot drop-box location or county election office.  Voters can find their polling place or drop-box location using VOTE411.
