LWPA Seeks Nominations for 2025-2027 Board of Directors
The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania is currently seeking Board of Director nominations for a 2025-2027 term. For over 100 years, the League has served as a nonpartisan voice for the rights of Pennsylvania voters. We’re looking for the next generation of League leaders to continue our important mission of empowering voters and defending democracy for another century. Learn more about our work here.
Board members will join the League at an exciting time – organizationally, we are experiencing programming, fundraising, and membership growth. In 2025-20257 we will continue to provide PA voters with nonpartisan election information, while also working to address critical state policy issues like election integrity, voting rights, environmental protection, reproductive justice, and fair public education funding.
The League believes that an informed voter is a powerful voter. League members register voters, advocate for important Pennsylvania policy issues, and promote civic engagement year round. LWVPA Board members support our grassroots network of 31 local Leagues across Pennsylvania, guide our statewide advocacy portfolio, lift up the voices of voters, and provide key operational support for our small but mighty nonprofit.
If you or someone you know is interested in running, please review the positions and requirements, and fill out this nomination form. Board positions will be elected by our members at the League’s June Convention, with work officially beginning in July 2025. General time commitment for Board members ranges, and ebbs and flows depending on your responsibilities, from 8-20 hours per month.
