11 Things You Can Do To Help Pennsylvanians Vote In 2022

Check your voter registration status: If you have changed your address or name since you last voted, you most likely need to update your voter registration. Make sure your friends do the same!

  1. Learn where your candidates stand on the issues that matter to you: Our Vote411 Voters’ Guide has in depth information about the candidates on your ballot and their positions on today’s issues. Check back closer to the election to learn about your candidates.

  2. Help first time voters: Do you know someone who will be voting for the first time this year? Share our First-Time Voter Checklist with them.

  3. Sign up to be a poll worker: Poll workers are an essential part of our elections. In Pennsylvania, poll working is a paid position.

  4. Become a member of your local LWVPA chapter: Volunteer with your local League to help prepare your community for Election Day.

  5. Join LWVPA’s Voter Services Committee to get involved in our work for the 2022 election! Email civicengagementfellow@palwv.org for more information.

  6. Stay connected! Subscribe to LWVPA emails for real-time updates, and follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram

  7. Give your business to companies that support voters: The Civic Alliance is a great place to start to find companies that support democracy and voting rights.

  8. Learn who’s funding your candidates’ campaigns: Followthemoney.org is a great resource to find out important information about money in politics.

  9. Call the Election Protection Hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE if you observe a voting problem in your area.

  10. Donate to the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania!
