Join WHYY, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the League of Women Voters of Philadelphia, and the Committee of Seventy on Tuesday evening, April 11 for the return of the hugely popular Philadelphia City Council At-Large Candidate Convention. The event, to be held at the WHYY Independence Civic Space (150 N. Sixth St.), is a one-stop voter preparation experience in advance of the city’s May 16th primary election. Doors open at 4 pm and close at 7 pm.
Organizers have invited every declared at-large candidate to attend. Each campaign will be given a booth, and voters can move among them to hear directly from the candidates, face-to-face, about their priorities and plans for the city. Attendees will also be able to register to vote, learn about how to cast their ballot in the upcoming municipal primary, and learn about opportunities to stay engaged with the campaigns.
This is your chance to ask each candidate about the issue that matters most to you!
Registration is free but required. Register here to attend.
