Step 1: Am I registered to vote?
No? Click here to register to vote in PA. There are four easy ways to register: online, by mail, in person at your county voter registration office or at PennDOT and some other government agencies.
Not sure? Don’t worry, check out this link to check your status and be confident about your voting day plan.

Step 2: Know your voting choices.
How do you want to vote? You have several safe, easy, and FUN options!
Option 1: Vote in Person. You can cast your vote at a polling site.
Option 2: You can request a mail-in ballot. Mail-in ballots are for ANY qualified voter. You may simply request this ballot without a reason. The mail-in ballot can be returned by mail or dropped off. However, your request for a mail-in ballot must be received by your county elections office no later than April 16, 2024.
Option 3: You can request an absentee ballot. An absentee ballot is a good option if you plan to be out of the municipality on election day or if you have a disability or illness. This ballot type still requires you to list a reason for your ballot.
Step 3: When Do I Vote?
The next election is the GENERAL ELECTION on November 5, 2024
Polls are open on election day from 7 A.M. to 8 P.M.
Last day to register to vote: October 21, 2024
Last day to request a mail-in ballot: October 29, 2024
Step 4: How do I pick the right person?
We are so glad you asked. The general rule for picking the right person is that it is up to YOU! Your voice, your vote. We want folks to vote, and we want to help you pick the right person for you.
