Brockway, Punxsutawney, and Jefferson Tech Schools; Brookville and Brockway
Municipal Authorities; Punxsutawney Sewage Association, and PSU Cooperative
Extension
Focus: The Network will expand the teams established during
the project's initial stage. Teams will receive additional equipment
and curriculum materials, as well as, training to be able to educate
their respective communities about protection of their drinking water
source waters.

Protection Project 1999
Focus: The
project will organize community water resource network teams centered
around four participating school districts, purchase groundwater flow
models, train teachers and resource specialists in use of the flow
models and other educational tools. Network Teams will develop and
implement action plans for their communities and share their experiences
with other network members.

Water and Wellhead Protection Grants-
1995 & 1996
The Jefferson County Conservation District and the Rural Development
Committee sponsored a Groundwater Protection Workshop and produced Groundwater
Protection Information Binders for distribution at the workshop and
throughout the County. The program was held in conjunction with a Groundwater
