The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania Citizen Education Fund (LWVPA-CEF)
funds a limited number of community based educational projects that protect and

Watershed Education Grants — 2012 Watershed Education Grant round is closed.
The Watershed Education Grant Program seeks to raise public awareness, encourage behavior change and improve public policies to protect water resources. WREN invites grant proposals for Watershed Protection Education from local coalitions that will raise awareness and educate Pennsylvania citizens, local officials, and other community stakeholders about their roles as environmental stewards to protect, improve, or remediate the watershed from the impacts of polluted runoff.
Source Water Protection Education Grants — 2012 WREN Source Water Protection Education Grant round is closed.
The Source Water Protection Program seeks to raise awareness and encourage Pennsylvania public water suppliers and communities to voluntarily implement source water protection in a practical, sustainable way through preventative and risk reduction activities, and appropriate land management strategies. The goal of the WREN Source Water Protection (SWP) Education Grant Program is to support development of local partnerships that will conduct community education to build an informed citizenry who adopt water-friendly environmental behaviors and will encourage local officials to take action and make decisions that protect drinking water resources and public health.
